The Governance and Institutional Strengthening under the tuhet farming system was discussed among the tribal farmers from Nancowrie Islands at ICAR-CIARI, Sri Vijaya Puram on 09.11.2025 at its research farm. There were 16 tribal farmers were participated in the program. Establishment and renovation methods of vermicompost production unit in the farming area and the methodology were discussed for maximum vermicompost production by using various residues collected from the farm. Also we discussed the sale of vermicompost by farming the tribal farmers group to improve their livelihood. Further discussed the farmers group benefits and functioning mechanisms for preparing and selling of farm products under the name of the Nicobar products.
